Loved this chapter with the comparisons from the Odyssey! Must be the English teacher in me.
1. Has it occurred to you that you have a desire for a "better kind of love?"

3. Do any "SHALT NOTS" interfer with you interpretation of what love is, or could be? (pg. 28)

5. What does a "sweeter song" consist of in our lives, especially our love lives? (pg. 34)

I love this because no matter how many times someone told me this while I was on my journey seeking romance did I take heart or believe them. Now, I truly know the meaning of this. So girls, trust that the right relationship that God has in store will beat all the expectations that you ever had.

1. Yes. It seems like the world is like hm...it can't get any better than this. and then they lose what they had.
2.How would i define the beautiful side of love? What's beautiful is if we wait long enough and are patient enough and let God have your heart, THAT is beautiful. Because then the love is truly beautiful. and true.
3.maybe. in my old church there was no pda. no talkin of pda. no...you get the point. you couldn't even really think about it i guess.
4. instead of listening to the world. *hanging with the wrong friends with the wrong intentions* listen to God let him talk to you. talk to him. read about his plan and his love. pay attention to him. praise him. and so forth.
5.WAIT ON GOD! then we will truly be happy.

1. It has occurred to me that I want a better kind of love. Sometimes we get caught up in wanting live so much that we would settle, but deep down I know there is something better and that I don’t want what the world calls love.
2. The beautiful side of love is when God is in the center, when both you and the other person respect each other, when you aren’t forced into something that you don’t want to do, when the guy will do anything for you to be happy.
3. Sometimes we think that all the shalt nots are holding us back from a fulfilled love life, but when you think about it, the reason God gave us those shalt nots is to protect us. God doesn’t say that we can’t have boyfriends, he just gives us rules about having them.
4. I think that one big thing we can do to lower the volume of temptation in our lives is to not put ourselves into situations that will tempt us. I know that is not always possible to completely avoid it, but a lot of times you can. Another thing we can do is decide beforehand what we are going to do in a situation before it happens. Decide how you would react when temptation finds you. a lot of times we will make the wrong decision if we decide in the moment.
5. Our sweeter song consists of that perfect plan God has for us. The hard part is waiting for it.
